DESCRIPTION:Trinity College Choir \nNotre Dame d’Auteuil \nThursday 11th July \n8pm \n \nAs part of this year’s international tour\, the Trinity College Choir will be visiting Paris for a concert at the Church of Notre Dame d’Auteuil on Thursday 11 July 2024. \nIt will be the Choir’s first concert in France under the new Director of Music Steven Grahl\, who was appointed by the College in January of this year and who took over from Stephen Layton MBE\, who served as Director of Music at Trinity for 17 years. \nAll Cambridge and Oxford alumni\, and any other music lovers\, are invited to attend this free concert (with retiring collection)\, which starts at 8pm and finishes around 9.30pm. SUMMARY:Pre-Olympics wine sampling in Montmartre
DESCRIPTION:EVENT CANCELLED \nUnfortunately\, too many of you appear to have left Paris for the Summer so with only 3 bookings we had to take the decision to cancel while we could still do so without any financial penalty. \nHowever\, we do hope to rearrange this event for September or October\, so please watch this space… \nLet’s have a relaxing evening together before the Olympic Games commence with wonderful company and lovely conversation! On Monday\, 22nd of July\, all members of the Society as well as our friends from the Oxford Society are cordially invited to an evening at Les Piqueurs\, 6 Rue Tardieu\, in Montmartre (metro Anvers\, Line 2\, or Château Rouge\, Line 4). From 8 p.m. on\, different wines – accompanied by a small selection of cheese and meats – will be served. Do not miss the chance to sample a selection of wines in a casual setting in the shadow of Sacré Cœur. \nTickets are €25 per person and can be booked by clicking on the “+” in the ticket section below to select the number of tickets wanted.
