DESCRIPTION:SATURDAY 4th APRIL \nFrom 2h30 pm at The Bombardier\n2 Place du Panthéon\, 75005 Paris \n \nF \nWe have\, with the help of our friends from Oxford\, again booked at  The Bombardier\, 2 Place du Panthéon\, 75005 Paris (metro Cardinal Lemoine and Maubert-Mutualité (both on line 10) or RER B Luxembourg). \nWe will meet there to support Cambridge in an atmosphere of friendly rivalry with Oxford on Saturday 4th April from 2h30 pm. \nYou can let us know that you plan to come by registering in the event section of the website to give us an idea of numbers\, but you will be welcome to join us even without registration. Snacks will be provided for all. \nThe Ladies’ race starts at 15h21 (Paris time)\, followed an hour later by the Mens’ race \nFurther information is available on the official Boat Race website here.

DESCRIPTION:“Round Table” led by Sir Michael Edwards\nat Sciences Po\n\nSociety member Gabrielle Desalbres and president co-founder of Ensemble Rejoyce\, Cambridge\, wishes to share details of a round table event on 17 April\, in Paris\, which might be of interest to you. \nHaving recently performed at the Festival de musique sacrée de St Malo\, Ensemble Rejoyce\, Cambridge will give a concert in Paris for the first time. Ensemble Rejoyce is a Franco-British a cappella vocal octet founded in 2022 by choral scholars from the famous Choir of Trinity College\, Cambridge\, with the aim to strengthen Franco-British friendship through performing French and British music on both sides of the Channel and creating its own bilingual repertoire in collaboration with young composers and distinguished poets such as Sir Michael Edwards\, honorary fellow from Christ’s College\, Cambridge and member of the Académie française. \nA “round table” event has been organised at Sciences Po on Friday 17 April\, led by Cambridge Alumnus Sir Michael Edwards and involving members of Ensemble Rejoyce\, among whom are a junior research fellow from Trinity College\, Cambridge and a young British composer.. The round table will be followed by a concert. The event will take place in Sciences Po on Friday 17 April at 7 pm\, and is co-organised by Sciences Po Alumni and Ensemble Rejoyce\, Cambridge.
