Annual General Meeting & Trevor Brown Bursary student presentations

22 May, 2018 @ 19:00 - 21:00

The Society’s AGM will take place The Annual General Meeting will take place at 7pm on Tuesday 22nd May at the Maison de la Vie Associative et Citoyenne, 28 rue Diebold, 75008 Paris (between Metro Ternes and Saint Philippe du Roule).  After the AGM, we are delighted that four of the five students who benefited from the Trevor Brown Bursary in 2017 will come to give us a presentation of their project work.

  • Carl Frayne (St John’s) – Exiled French Religious Congregations in Great Britain (1880-1914)
  • Auriane Terki-Mignot (Churchill) – Recovering evidence of women’s work during industrialization: comparative case studies from France and Britain, 1787-1901
  • Emma Sharples (Churchill) – Medieval Modernisms
  • Alice Limb (Pembroke) – Acquisitions and the Care of Royal Collections in Eighteenth-Century Paris

Not only will this give us insight into their fields of interest, it will also demonstrate the value generated by our Bursary programme. For those who wish to know more about the Trevor Brown Bursary, a brief description is attached. Although all members may attend the AGM, please do complete and return the registration form (attached in PDF format) so that we are able to estimate numbers for the organisation of the refreshments which will follow the presentations.

A formal notification of the meeting, with the agenda and a call for nominations for the Committee, has been sent to members but do contact Tony Banton on admin@camsocparis.org if you would like it to be resent.
